Central Track & Field Meet

The Special Olympics Iowa Central Area Track & Field Meet will take place on Saturday, April 15th at Grinnell College (1201 10th Ave.

Grinnell, Iowa 50112) in Grinnell, Iowa.

Volunteers will be asked to help with various tasks such as: escorting athletes, timing races, measuring throws, presenting awards, & leading the staging area. 

Volunteers will have the opportunity to engage with and create meaningful interactions with Special Olympics Iowa athletes throughout the duration of the event. All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt, and leave with a smile!

We will organize a volunteer meeting at 9:15 A.M. the day of the event to assign roles, explain organization, & prepare to to make this a memorial day for our athletes!
