Southwest Track & Field Meet- Council Bluffs, IA

The Special Olympics Iowa Southwest Track & Field Meet will take place on Tuesday, April 16th at Council Bluffs CSD's Track, located next to Woodrow Wilson Junior High School (715 N 21st Street, Council Bluffs, IA).

We are searching for volunteers to help the day of to assist with the organization of the event. Various roles include: escorting athletes, timing races, measuring throws, presenting awards, & leading the staging area. 

Volunteers will have the opportunity to engage with and create meaningful interactions with Special Olympics Iowa athletes throughout the duration of the event.

We will organize a volunteer meeting at the start of the day of the event to assign roles, explain organization, & prepare to to make this a memorial day for our athletes!
